I dont usually write reviews, but I had to show my appreciation. I heard a good review from a friend and ordered off Deliveroo. Amazing portions and truly authentic in taste. I appreciate the ferni you give, too . May your business be blessed . I truly cannot name a better restaurant for this cuisine. Highly recommend Cannot name a better place especially for the Kabuli Pulao and Chapli Kebab

Namak Mandi is of those rare restaurant that gives you the taste of food as if you are in the country where the food is from! My friends and I came twice during my recent trip to London. I would highly recommend their Chicken Karahi and their rice. I am extremely picky about rice as I also cook it with much details on my own. But their rice is another level, specifically with the carrot. Surely, as people have already written, it takes sometimes for your orders being served, but very normal as it is freshly cooked. Always order a big Nan, tell them to bake it more. And order a mango juice, it makes the experience much nicer, specifically if you make your orders spicy. And, yeah, their spicy level is serious. Their portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable. And, the restaurant vibe is not ideal! It is among those categories of restaurant where you go for the food, not the atmosphere! Just I wish this restaurant was more central in London.

We were seated in a room, and it was a very nice and traditional experience. The food was delicious and great value for money. The bread and lassi were exceptional — truly out of this world. Go hungry, as the portions are generous and worth every bite. Highly recommended!

Excellent place, will definitely return! The food was INCREDIBLE, the staff are really helpful, and sitting on a takhat to eat was a great experience. Highly recommended! The chapli kebab is so flavourful, and the karahi is to die for. Also, definitely end the meal with their amazing phirni.

The food was very delicious. The serving portion was huge. We had a very delicious lamb stew called Karahi. This is a must order dish and you will love it. The naan bread is very big so just order one (we ordered 2!). The mixed grill is also very good. The restaurant space is a bit crammed and I sat at the busy traffic area where lots of service and food delivery. My jacket was stained with oil from the delivery service. So avoid the busy traffic traffic from the kitchen

The food taste is authentic and perfect. The staff and chefs are very welcoming and the restaurant has an authentic pashtun vibe they have carpeted floor sitting just the way of pashtuns.

We had an absolute win-win experience at this restaurant! Having tried various places in London, I can confidently say that the quantity and quality of food at Namak Mandi is exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions, especially at such an affordable price. The complimentary Kheer and Afghan kehwa were a delightful bonus. The staff was also highly cooperative, making our visit even better.

Food 10/10. Chapali kebab and lamb karahi were spicy, hot and very tender. Service was speedy and they also gave complimentary kheer which was really hospitable of them. Prices are also very reasonable. They were quite pressuring with table time and bringing the bill without us asking. But i understand because it's a small restaurant and even at 9pm on a weekday they had people waiting to sit. So I don't hold it against them. Would definitely recommend and would come back :)
